Building the Pathways That Move Africa Forward

Our programs are designed around four connected pillars: Inclusion, Knowledge, Access and Innovation.

1. Inclusion — Empowering Women in Motion

Across Africa, mobility remains one of the least gender-inclusive sectors.
We are developing initiatives that will train, finance, and place women in professional driving, logistics, and ride-hailing roles combining education, empowerment, and advocacy to reshape what equality on the road looks like.

We believe every woman who moves, moves the continent.

2. Knowledge — Building Africa’s Mobility Intelligence Framework

Tomorrow’s mobility economy depends on today’s knowledge systems.
We are creating Africa’s first digital mobility knowledge framework merging technical training, research, and data to prepare the next generation of drivers, technicians, and innovators.

This includes a digital training curriculum and learning indexes that will formalize and modernize technical mobility education across the continent.

Because skills move societies forward.

3. Access — Making Mobility a Public Good

Mobility is access  and access is opportunity.

Under our Access pillar, we are developing multiple initiatives that lower everyday barriers to transport, connect markets, and link mobility to food security and livelihoods.

Projects include:

  • A Transport Voucher System to make commuting more affordable for workers, students, and traders.
  • Agricultural Mobility Hubs that connect farmers to markets and reduce post-harvest losses.
  • Market Mapping to digitize Africa’s informal mobility  and spare-parts economy.

Each initiative is informed by 234Drive’s community data and built for collaboration with development partners, corporates, and local governments.

4. Innovation

To celebrate and connect changemakers, 234Drive Impact is also developing an annual initiative spotlighting the people, companies, and ideas transforming Africa’s mobility landscape.

This platform will provide visibility, research, and recognition to the ecosystem shaping Africa’s transport future.
